ION INDIE MAGAZINE June 2015, Volume 13 | Page 152
Music by TPF “Ten Thousand Voices”
By Shawn Joseph
Welcome once again friends and enemies alike. This is a very special month for “Chaos’s Corner”, just as it is for all of us at
ION Indie Magazine, as this marks the anniversary of our maiden voyage! What an amazing year it has been! The plot twists
never end in the musical universe. One minute you are playing bass for a packed house and the next you are sleeping with the
fishes. Although, I must advise against the latter for it tends to create a rather expensive cleaning bill. I am Chaos and this is
my domain. You are welcome to stay as long as you like. I search the world over for artists, not unlike myself, who have a voice
and are just waiting to be heard. I took a journey all the way to DAVE JERSEY’S Facebook page to recruit him for this issue. I
felt it would be fitting to further expose those who were brave enough to share their talents with us last June. Dave is a lyricist
from New York that has a unique way of portraying his art. If you are a musician in need of lyrics, or want some new inspiration,
make your way to his page for more mouth-watering tapestries: www.facebook.com/dave.jersey.923
CLINICAL
By Dave Jersey
Say I'm maniacal...
So diabolical
Keep me locked away
Label me clinical
As I lift my head
Just look into my eyes
See my wicked little smile
Now tell me I'll be alright
Tell me I'll be alright
Let’s face the facts
My inner torment's maxed
Once I'm triggered
There's no coming back
Say I'm ignitable
So unpredictable
It is what it is
I'm clinical
As I lift my head
Just look into my eyes
See my wicked little smile
Now tell me you'll be alright
Tell me you'll be alright
Free from restraint
I'm no saint
With your blood
The room I'll paint
Subdued carnage
So hard to manage
