Mixi: Words are really powerful and music is really powerful when you can send some sort of a message. With this record we really tried to do that. A lot of the lyrics are very hopeful. They kind of pull from a really dark place and they bring you to a more positive place. I really wanted people's emotions to become more positive after they listen to something. To change the way, maybe their day wasn't very good, from little things to big issues, we all go through stuff in life. When we were writing this, I was in a place where I finally saw the light at the end of the tunnel. Things were really dark before and I just really want people to know that's not the end. If you're feeling down, it's not the end; you're not alone. You're never alone. We all go through it and it'll be okay. Rei: Your story is not over. Mixi: And just stitch up your own heart. Rei: [looks moved] Decker: ...aw, now you made her cry. Mixi: No, she's crying! [laughs and hugs Rei] Rei: I'm not crying. No, I'm being very, very professional! [laughs] Thank you!
