Rei: Rei Haycraft here with the Carolina Rebellion Fanzone and the band Stitched Up Heart--part whom just got off the stage a little bit ago and kicked some serious ass. I was right upfront for it and it was amazing. Mixi: Yeah? [Hugs Rei] It was amazing. I'm still in euphoria from it. Carolina Rebellion is a bucket list that I checked like this, you know? Yeah, this is amazing. We're glad we're here—we kind of squeezed on the bill. We’re on tour with SICK PUPPIES and RED SUN RISING right now. And we've been on the waiting list for Carolina Rebellion. And because the tour was going through and then a band dropped off, we squeezed on and opened up the show--and it was really cool. Gary: They couldn't have made a better choice. Mixi: Yeah, like right? Rei: It was so amazing. Mixi: It's super cool. Decker: That was a lot of fun. Rei: And the way you were able to get the crowd interacting with your music--it was phenomenal. Mixi: Well, it's all like a participation. You want people to actually have fun and enjoy instead of just, “Let's play our song.” Decker: No. You've got to get them into it. Mixi: This is how the song goes. You can pick up the record and it's the same. Gary: How did you feel when you guys were up there? You feel the crowd was in to you? Mixi: I hope so. Rei: I saw in the crowd and they were, very much so. There were like five people that weren't. Decker: I look at everybody as I'm playing, like, I saw you out there! [gestures to Rei] You know, I just stare everybody down. Mixi: That's because you're cute. Decker: Well, yeah. Rei: I'm also a shining pink beacon. Decker: But I saw everybody. There was a mosh pit at one point! Rei: They were all jumping and head banging and throwing up horns. So, you have your debut record, “Never Alone” coming out!
