We are still reeling from our epically jam-packed June Anniversary and admittedly, it is a tough act to follow. However, with a
staff like the one that encompasses ION Indie Magazine, this Editor knows that with the sort of talent that comprises our team,
each and every month our journalists continue to deliver exceptional journalism while covering on some of the best music
worldwide. Sometimes these are “known” artists, and others, our readers learn about in the pages of ION. With that said, July
has proven to be no exception!
Our own Art Director-turned-Journalist JAY PETSKO presents our featured cover story this month on DR G—UK Producer for Hip
Hop’s elite. Jay brings an in depth interview with this notable presence in the music industry to our readers in this July issue.
Any given month, ION Photojournalists are “out and about” and infiltrating venues and concerts around the world. Some of

and personal” with MUMFORD AND SONS…and GARY CAROTA provides a photographic journal of the CD Release Party for A
COURSE OF ACTION’S new offering, “Treason”. Journalist SCOTTY J of ROCK TITAN TV landed an insightful interview with TOM
KEIFER, formerly of the band CINDERELLA. You can find out about Tom’s tour and his new music—along with his advice for
today’s independent artist.
As a side note, I have moved the base of operations of ION to Atlanta, Georgia. Although still recovering from the rigors of a
cross-country move, I am confident that many more opportunities will present themselves for the magazine, being positioned
in a music hub like Atlanta. Coupled with my new gig with T&T MANAGEMENT AND BOOKING AGENGY, I will have ample
