Steve Cyr: HENDRIX. How can you not say “Hendrix”? The dude was ridiculous. I mean he started it all in my opinion. Just loud, trippy, experimental, Wah pedal, awesomeness. MM to Steve and Bobby: Who are your musical influences? Steve Cyr: TONY IOMMI, TOM MORRELO, SLASH, MILES DAVIS, JIMI HENDRIX, PAUL GILBERT EDDIE VAN HALEN…so on and so on. I get on these weird band kicks for months at a time too, where I listen to their stuff constantly. Right now it's the YEAH YEAH YEAHS. Bobby: THIRD EYE BLIND or LIVE. Those two bands have been the biggest influences on me and I still listen to them all the time. MM: The new album, “The Problem With Her…” is awesome! It’s definitely tops in line on my rotation right now. Where can fans find it? Jeff: Thanks. We had an awesome time recording and we’re very proud of the end product. You will soon be able to purchase our album through all digital outlets and we will have physical copies available at all future shows. Keep an eye on www.facebook.com/diedivadie for more info. For The Record: Talking with these guys and getting to know them has been a real treat for me. They’re ALWAYS laughing, busting on each other and genuinely having a great time. Their relationships with each other comes through in their music and stage shows. Below is a screen capture of a conversation we had on Facebook one night when I thought of another question for this article. One thing I did learn, the name Die Diva Die refers to any or all members of the band--just depends on who you ask.
