ION INDIE MAGAZINE July 2014, Volume 2 | Page 4

ION Indie Magazine’s June Inaugural issue’s launch was a resounding success that has made a joyful noise amongst the staff, readers, partners and Indie artists worldwide! We had dared to hope that our arrival would be well-received, but never in our wildest dreams did we imagine the impact our publication would have--nor did we anticipate the flood of messages and letters from those that support local music worldwide! We are excited and energized in our resolve to provide a forum for Indie music to be read about, seen and ultimately HEARD! In this July Edition, you will find the promotional partners that have joined our initiative. We ask that you show your love for their hard work and dedication to the independent music scene. We are grateful for their fellowship and appreciate each and every one! To further our objective to have music HEARD, all of the artists that appear in our pages have their music forwarded to these broadcasters for consideration for their rotations. Our Broadcast Media Coordinator JERE PERRY heads up this division of ION Indie Magazine and we thank him for his efforts! ION Indie Magazine is featuring PA-based Metal band THREATPOINT this month. One of our photojournalists extraordinaire KEN JONES presents this band to the readers of our magazine and proves why they are gracing our July cover! The Fairy Rock Mother Kiki Plesha is pictured with Cactus Chainsaw and Butcher Babies—Photos by JB Bridges ION Indie Magazine was in da house taking in some LIVE music and events around the Phoenix area. Read about our night at THE MARQUEE THEATER in Tempe, AZ with hard-rockin’ band, CACTUS CHAINSAW--as the band opened for BLACK STAR RIDERS and SKID ROW. And ION was also on the scene at the Grand Re-opening of CLUB RED in Mesa, AZ--when the Alternative band and hometown heroes AUTHORITY ZERO invaded the desert! Next, we were delighted to be hanging out with the BUTCHER BABIES at a private “meet and greet” at EPIC MUSIC STORE in Phoenix, AZ! Read about this fairy and all of her frolics in the July issue. As always, my sincerest thanks go out to the dedicated staff of ION Indie Magazine, the amazingly talented bands we feature--and YOU, our beloved readers, for supporting local music…worldwide!!! YOU RAWK! Kiki Plesha CEO/Editor-in-Chief The Fairy Rock Mother ION Indie Magazine
