The crowd for this show was amazing and Without A Martyr had them crowd-surfing for their song
“Mechanical”, but then brought them to their knees when they played “Wrong Turn”, a song about watching
someone you love struggle with drugs. During this song, Eric, lead singer, talks to the crowd while they’re
down low…and then with some positive words brings them up as they rip back into the song.
Talking to them and seeing them live for the first time was a treat for me. I watched as the band hand-wrote
on little post-it notes--and attached each one to the EP's as they were handing them out at the end of the
night. They are a hard-working group and hopefully, their work will pay off. I think they will be playing the
VANS WARPED TOUR--which they are in the running by collecting votes from fans. I will be sure to get out
and see them again. I only wish I could have attended the very first show they did at 3 KINGS in Jermyn, PA
to see how far they have come.
