In Northeast Pa, we have a great music scene. There is no shortage of finding something that suits you, and
WITHOUT A MARTYR, a Metal band from Scranton, PA, made sure to include some up-and-coming bands of
varying genres, and a staple of the scene to their show. This all- ages show was held at THE VINTAGE in
Scranton, PA.
KARATE CAMP opened the show with their Indie Punk sound and the crowd was digging it. This young band
is working hard at getting their music out there. I am looking forward to seeing where they take their band.
Next on the stage with their Hard Rock/Metal sound, was LIFE AFTER MISERY. Their goal is to change people
for the better with their music, and maybe with the release in the coming months of their “Welcome to the
Dead Show” album, they will do just that. The crowd was drawn in and very wild for this band.
With the crowd pumped, CAUSE OF
AFFLICTION took their cue with their
Metal/Hard Rock sound, and had

incredible and the band was really
feeling it and giving the audience
what they wanted. Incredible
performance and tons of energy to
go around. They treated the crowd to
lots of new material, but made sure
to include some favorites such as
“Salami” where we got MORE KEG!
This is their slogan for a staple of
their show, where the lead singer
beats an empty keg in time to the
jam.
With the venue now filled to
capacity, and a few people climbing
the outside walls to peek in the
windows, Without A Martyr took us
all prisoners. With the lead man,
ERIC ROSS actually leaving the
stage and being one with the crowd
at times, you could feel the
electricity in the room. Your
attention didn't know where to go.
"Red gets you the attention,"
goofed some of the band mates of
PHIL LUONGO, drummer, with his
red hair and pants. But that wasn't
the reason he was grabbing the
