Country music has seen drastic changes over the last few decades, from stars wearing sequined encrusted suits of wagon wheels and steer horns like PORTER WAGONER, BUCK OWENS, LEFTY FRIZZELL and RAY PRICE--to the tee shirt wearing stars of today, like KID ROCK, DIERKS BENTLEY, KEITH URBAN and TIM MCGRAW. Not only has the fashion of country music changed (I was raised old school, so I still catch myself saying "Country and Western" sometimes) , but the whole essence has taken a different Country road. Steel Guitars for the most part have been replaced by wailing riff lines of Stratocasters and stacks of Marshalls, the smooth-voiced stars of yesteryear Saturday morning matinee belting out a love song after shooting it out with
