Finally taking the stage was the headliner of the “Back to the Future Hearts Tour” from Baltimore, Maryland,
ALL TIME LOW (also with HOPELESS RECORDS). All Time Low has been together since their freshmen year
in high school, and have since produced 7 albums--their most recent being “Future Hearts”, which was
released earlier this year.
The showmanship, sheer musical talent and even comedy of All
Time Low reverberated throughout and ignited the many levels of
the Agora Theater.
On a personal note, I find RIAN DAWSON (Drummer) and ZACK
MERRICK (Bassist) to be stand-outs. In my opinion, they are not
given enough credit for their dedication to the music and the love
they put forth into what they do. However, it was JACK BARAKAT
(Lead Guitar) and ALEX GASKARTH (Lead Vocalist/Guitar) provided
the comedic relief of the evening…evoking raucous laughter out of
the audience. At one point in the show, Jack Barakat jokingly sang
about guacamole-- with Rian Dawson not missing a “beat”!
Perhaps one of my fondest memories of the evening was experiencing everyone singing in unison to the All
Time Low song “Remembering Sunday” and Sleeping With Sirens’ “With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear”. The
strains of these “sing-alongs” resounded in my brain long after the show ended.
I would like to mention that the acoustics in the Agora Theater were nothing less than perfect, and although
the venue was small (built to contain only 1800 people), this lent an air of intimacy to the show that really
