strive to always do what I think is most important. So I would love to drive charitable efforts worldwide. In
time, I'd like CTD to make that dream a reality, but if not by CTD, I'd find another way to make that happen.
I'm not afraid to move across the world and get my hands dirty helping those who need it most. If not those
things, I have endless other ideas I think I could really succeed at, and in time, I will likely pursue most of
them in one capacity or another. I'm a busy guy.
Mark: All-time favorite influences on your respective instruments?
Zach: My biggest influences are MARK TREMONTI (CREED, ALTER BRIDGE, TREMONTI), PAUL GILBERT
(RACER X, MR. BIG), JOE SATRIANI, GUTHRIE GOVAN, NOAH HENSON (PILLAR), MARCOS CURIEL (POD),
JOHN PETRUCCI (DREAM THEATER), CHRIS HENDERSEN and MATT ROBERTS (3 DOORS DOWN),
BREAKING BENJAMIN, AUDIOSLAVE, JACK THAMMARAT and ANDY MCKEE. Other major guitar influences
include: STORY OF THE YEAR, AVENGED SEVENFOLD, ALL THAT REMAINS, DECYFER DOWN, SHANE &
SHANE, BLINK 182, VAN HALEN, THE BEATLES, THE BLUES BROTHERS, GUNS N ROSES, ATREYU,
SOUNDGARDEN, NIGHT RANGER, JOURNEY, DEF LEPPARD, DISTURBED, GODSMACK, SKILLET, SEETHER,
STAIND, MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE (The early stuff), SRV, HENDRIX, LED ZEPPELIN, LYNYRD SKYNYRD,
AC/DC…and many, many more.
Jake: For being the front man of a band, DAVE GROHL has always been my musical idol, constantly keeping
in the loop for every instrument he knows how to play. Otherwise, ALEX RUDINGER has taken the drumming
world by storm over the last few years, and I have major respect for his talent.
Chase: RYAN MARTINIE (MUDVAYNE) and MARCUS MILLER top the list for "favorite" bassists--though
choosing is hard. There really are a lot of amazing talents, and major influences on bass. But, both Ryan
and Marcus have great feel and incredible technique.
