The title song “ Destination Everywhere ” covers all the elements — a real “ throwback ” to the best of times in the ‘ 80 ’ s when hard rock reigned supreme and bands like BON JOVI , DOKKN , GOTTHARD , VAN HALEN and VAN HALEN ruled arenas . I can even pick out influences of CHICKENFOOT — an impressive mash-up ! Spontaneous head-banging is sure to ensue with this song .
Another favorite track from this CD is “ Hot Shaking Night ”— where the vocals really shine . This song sticks in the mind long after the last licks have left . “ Crazy For Your Love ” continues to roar down the raucous road of ROCK ! Hang on , buckle up and get ready to ride … for you will be MOVED !
“ Let ’ s Get Adrenalized ” is another example of the commitment that these musicians make to their music . I can close my eyes and imagine such iconic groups like SCORPIONS and CRAZY LIXX smashing it on stage .
Also worthy of mention are : “ Kick Your Hearts Out ”, which can rock any stadium ; along with the slower stylings of the songs “ I ’ ll Be There For You ”— with its echoes of BON JOVI and DEF LEPPARD — and “ Can ’ t Stop My Heart ”, which is reminiscent of ROXETTE . It also reminds me of BELINDA CARLISE ’ S “ Heaven Is A Place On Earth ”.
Summarizing , the music of DRENALIZE is a masterfully crafted CD that recalls an epic era in music , while delivering solid , hard-driving Melodic Hard Rock and AOR in massive proportions . All the necessary pieces are in place — grinding guitars , pounding drumwork and impressively voracious vocals ... the sum of these parts equal raunchy and rowdy rock ! This French band kicks your ass for 30 solid minutes , serving up a sexy and scintillating wall of sound ! Warning — this CD has additive tendencies — but the rehab will be well worth the ride .
