The title song“ Destination Everywhere” covers all the elements— a real“ throwback” to the best of times in the‘ 80’ s when hard rock reigned supreme and bands like BON JOVI, DOKKN, GOTTHARD, VAN HALEN and VAN HALEN ruled arenas. I can even pick out influences of CHICKENFOOT— an impressive mash-up! Spontaneous head-banging is sure to ensue with this song.
Another favorite track from this CD is“ Hot Shaking Night”— where the vocals really shine. This song sticks in the mind long after the last licks have left.“ Crazy For Your Love” continues to roar down the raucous road of ROCK! Hang on, buckle up and get ready to ride … for you will be MOVED!
“ Let’ s Get Adrenalized” is another example of the commitment that these musicians make to their music. I can close my eyes and imagine such iconic groups like SCORPIONS and CRAZY LIXX smashing it on stage.
Also worthy of mention are:“ Kick Your Hearts Out”, which can rock any stadium; along with the slower stylings of the songs“ I’ ll Be There For You”— with its echoes of BON JOVI and DEF LEPPARD— and“ Can’ t Stop My Heart”, which is reminiscent of ROXETTE. It also reminds me of BELINDA CARLISE’ S“ Heaven Is A Place On Earth”.
Summarizing, the music of DRENALIZE is a masterfully crafted CD that recalls an epic era in music, while delivering solid, hard-driving Melodic Hard Rock and AOR in massive proportions. All the necessary pieces are in place— grinding guitars, pounding drumwork and impressively voracious vocals... the sum of these parts equal raunchy and rowdy rock! This French band kicks your ass for 30 solid minutes, serving up a sexy and scintillating wall of sound! Warning— this CD has additive tendencies— but the rehab will be well worth the ride.
