AKRASIA By Anyone’s Guess If I could paint, then I would paint you. A painting would perfectly translate the blurry messages I slurred. If colors faded, I would save you From all promises that failed to, And keep you safe inside my world. But my hands can only trace things, My brush is made only to explain strings-making poetry from blurbs. And what transpired between us lately, The things I did that made you hate me Left me at a loss for words. Stop this mistrust. Stop fighting fate. Just say something To break my nothing. Don't be scared. If I could act, then I would lie, Say I'm strong and I don't cry... That I can take on more when I'm full. I jumped the knife and took the cut Because it meant that you would not, Then said the knife was dull. And I have lows and I have highs, I let frustration out through sighs, And I cleanse my soul with truth. I read into every word you say, Try to see everything your way, And I know just what you're worth. Stop this mistrust. Stop fighting fate. Just say something To break my nothing. Don't be scared. “Don’t be scared”? Easier said than done! Take time to listen to this one. Soft and piercing emotions flow through the entire song.
