I am an AVID supporters of live rock music. I am not a musician, so I cannot judge “technically” how great a
band is. However, as a music supporter, I feel qualified through interactions and experiences. It’s quite
simple: if it sounds good, it looks good, and it gets me moving, I’m hooked! Welcome ION Indie World to
ANTIC!
They were appearing at a VERY popular venue in Gainesville called THE HIGH DIVE, providing support for a
few of my favorite heavy hitter SUPER BOB and SMILE EMPTY SOUL. Instantly, I knew it was going to be a
respectable crowd.
Upon arriving at the venue, I met up with their manager, KLAUS, and began to set up the equipment. One of
the first things I noticed was their very well-stocked and varied merchandise, a key to “life on the road”. The
band members were very efficient and prompt in their changeover and preparations on stage and in no time,
it was SHOW TIME.
