ENEMY OF REALITY is a joining of regal forces that merged in
2013 in Athens, Greece, with lyric soprano Iliana Tsakiraki,
guitarist Steelianos, keyboardist Marianthe, bassist Thanos and
drummer Philip Stone each bringing something unique to this allstar lineup.
Steelianos, lead guitar, comes to the band from KEADO MORES
and STEELBORN. He is also an accomplished solo artist, and his
masterful guitarwork and trademark is apparent in ENEMY OF
REALITY. Philip Stone is also a veteran of MEDEN AGAN and is now
holding down the best for EOR with his unmistakeable power.
Thanos of FM Records’ CHTHONIAN ALCHEMY is the drivng
bassman and, rounding the sound out, is Marianthe on keyboards
with her refined musicanship. The sum of this total is a sound that
is the epitome of epic!
‘Rejected Gods’ is the debut album of EOR and it features 10
tracks in the genre of Symphonic Metal, with infusions of
Progressive Metal. The band combines different influences from
Classical music & Opera to Progressive & Heavy Metal. The CD is
one that can be described as intensely powerful and worthy of a
blockbuster movie soundtrack. The opening song (intro) was
composed by Christos Antoniou (SEPTIC FLESH/CHAOSTAR) and
the closing track (ballad) was arranged by Renos Miliaris
(SEPTEMBER CODE). Also, the album boasts guest performances
by: Ailyn Giménez (SIRENIA), Mike LePond (SYPHONY X), Androniki
Skoula (CHAOSTAR) and Maxi Nil (JADED STAR/ex-VISIONS OF
ATLANTIS).
Iliana, the voice behind MEDEN AGAN, released a highly acclaimed
studio album (Erevos Aenaon) and EP (Nemesis) with the
groundbreaking group before she set her sights on new horizons.
She also participated in SEPTICFLESH’S latest studio album ‘The
Great Mass’, which was chosen as
one of the very best Metal albums of
2011. She has shared the stage with
Tarja Turunen, EPICA, VISIONS OF
ATLANTIS, MAIDEN UNITED—and many
more. She has also performed at the
last two installments of Metal
Female Voices Fest. MFVF Xl saw
Steelianos and Philip take the stage
as well with Iliana and EVE’S APPLE.
