JOHN POP (Bass): Born in Orlando, FL, Pop started his love for music on trombone in 2000. He moved to West Palm Beach in
2002, where he discovered the bass. In 2004 he formed the original Morning Fatty lineup. The group consisted of 10 to 12
revolving members and was heavily influence by ska and punk. In 2007 he was accepted to the University of Florida with a
scholarship for trombone. He switched majors 4 times--and ended up graduating with a bachelors in Advertising and minor
in Business in 2012. His influences include 311, Incubus, Slightly Stoopid, Mad Caddies, Pepper, Less Than Jake, Streetlight
Manifesto, Lettuce, The Beatles, NoFx, Crystal Method, Stan Kenton, Victor Wooten, Jaco, Billy Sheehan. His gear includes:
Tobias Killer B6 (Bartolini Pickups) and Oxblood Fender Super Bassman sitting on an Ampeg 8×10.
TIM MULBERRY (Drums): Tim was born and raised in Gainesville Florida, and began playing the drums at the age of 3 at his
father’s church. Tim was influenced by great gospel drummers such as Calvin Rogers, Jeff Durant, Teddy Campbell and Aaron
spears. Tim has become well known for his solid foundation and taste. He is also continuing to grow as a musician, as well as
being a successful drummer. Tim is a keyboardist, producer and song writer. He most recently produced top 25 Gospel
Billboard artist “NoNa Jones”. Tim has played with notable acts such as 112, The Wailers and NoNa Jones. Before joining
Morning Fatty, he completed a 6 month world tour with The Black Eyed Peas. Tim’s Influences are Motown, Bob Marley, Earth
Wind and Fire, Gospel Music and Quincy Jones. His gear includes D Drums, Soultone cymbals and MPC Akai programming.
MILLER JOYNER (Guitar): Born in Quincy, FL, Miller Joyner grew up heavily involved in sports. His path to collegiate baseball
was cut short after suffering a baseball related head injury. It was then that Miller picked up the guitar and fell in love. He
moved to Gainesville in 2010 and met Pop and Drew. He instantly knew it was a perfect fit--and later that year, he joined
Morning Fatty. He received his Associates Degree from Santa Fe College in Gainesville and a Bachelor Degree from Berklee.
His influences are Widespread Panic, Umphreys McGee, Trey Anastasio, Phish, Jimmy Page and Lettuce. His gear includes
a Fender Strat (Lace Pick-ups), BK Butler Tube driver and Marshal Modern Vintatge 100W.
Morning Fatty has recently linked up with Grammy winning producers James Wisner (producer and sound engineer for Slightly
Stoopid), Angela Hunte (Empire state of mind) and Jimmy Douglas (Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys). They will be
producing their next studio album (currently untitled). The new album is a complete change of direction from their previous
studio albums. This will be the first full length LP with the newest member and drummer, Tim Mulberry. The band will be
tracking at Sonic Ranch in Texas starting December 5th.
