“Disco Ball of Blood” is a song dedicated to the band’s disdain for disco music and the things associated with it. Remember, we are listening to punk-based music and it’s an “era” thing. Insanely fast, I found the song to get me back on track after “Blood in the Wind.” “Do You Wanna See a Dragon,” the beginning of the song reminds me of “Ballroom Blitz,” as does most of the track. I find it to be a very listenable track. With “Somebody Put Something in My Drink,” the standout part of the track to me is the guitar solo. I think this is a very catchy tune. I believe that many will find this to be one of their favorite songs on the CD. Next up is the track “It Was Blasphemy (Was it a Blast for You).” You have to have a witty sense about you to get some of the songs on the CD. This is one of those. Let your guard down and just listen through an unfiltered mind. “Listen to the 8 Track Pt. 1 and Pt. 2,” the longest track of the CD at a tick over 6 minutes, is a good storytelling song. “Record Store Day” is a funny jab at just that…Record Store Day, calling it a “hipster holiday”…a true to its roots, up speed full-out punk tune. It seems the appropriate way to wrap up the CD. I will say straight up, this is not music that will suit everyone. If you like old Ramones, New York Dolls-type music, I think you will find it very enjoyable. At the very least, I believe you should give it a listen and hear for yourself the uniqueness of what KIFF is putting out musically in 2017. I bought it and so should you. www.facebook.com/KIFF-Knowledge-Is-For-Fools-51878349998 www.reverbnation.com/kiffknowledgeisforfools • https://store.cdbaby.com/cd/knowledgeisforfools4
