I am delighted to announce that our ION family has grown! Joining our valued network of broadcasters are: AYERWAVES RADIO and ENC96 RADIO! Welcome to both of these excellent radio stations. We appreciate all of their efforts and salute them for sharing our vision to get independent music read about, seen and heard! Also, congratulations to our own SHAWN “CHAOS” PETERS, author of the monthly column “Chaos’s Corner”! He has graciously accepted the position of Assistant Editor, joining our magnificent management staff. But why stop there? Be looking for Shawn to join the rank of broadcasters with his soon-to-launch ION Indie Magazine show “Eye On Jamz Radio”! Information will be forthcoming—watch these pages and our social media! Thank you for all the messages of kind support and concern regarding my recent stroke. I am recovering and taking it easy (by “workaholic standards”). In light of this, our independent music video show “Eye On Jamz” is taking a brief hiatus while I regain my strength. Although this “health hiccup” grounded me briefly, you KNOW you can’t keep a good fairy down…not for long anyway! “Music isn’t what I do, it’s who I am. Music is a life force that beats within. It permeates the senses and encompasses the spirit. Music transcends. It heals the heart, purges the soul and provides refuge from pain. Music is immortal.” ~The Fairy Rock Mother Kiki Plesha CEO/Editor-in-Chief The Fairy Rock Mother ION Indie Magazine
