This August issue of ION Indie Magazine features the best of the Summer Fests and Tours, including
coverage of the VANS WARPED TOUR, ROCKSTAR ENERY DRINK MAYHEM FESTIVAL and THE NEW ENGLAND
COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL—along with some pretty iconic names in music…BLONDIE, WHITESNAKE and

ION was provided with a poignant “human interest” story from friend to the Editor--Publicist extraordinaire,
CINDY D’ADAMO of LADYLAKE MUSIC. Our readers will learn in this August issue about the campaign to
retrieve STEVIE NICKS’ journal and return it to the son of Stevie’s much-publicized best friend ROBIN
ANDERSON, who often accompanied Stevie as she toured. Robin passed away right after giving birth to her
son and Stevie often speaks of this devastating loss in interviews. You can read about this compelling story
in these pages!
