The band SILVERSEL hails from the rich cotton fields of South Georgia--and just like the roots of the Spanish Moss-laden trees, their southern pride runs deep. And not unlike the ripples of a stone skipping across a country fishing hole, their music reverberates and its impact is far-reaching. Forged in 2009, SILVERSEL has evolved into a melding of Post Southern, Hard Rock, and Alternative Rock--blended with a dash of Blues, Country and Metal, formulating a recipe of scintillating sound that delivers a powerful punch to the palates of many musical tastes. Perhaps this explains their wide fan base and devoted following—that they affectionately refer to as “Selmates”. And their undeniably unique music has garnered some pretty prestigious notice. SILVERSEL was on the short list of consideration--whittled down from thousands-by the Recording Academy for the 56th GRAMMYS for their song “Heard It All Before” from their CD “Where Angels Dare”. Some notable bands have embraced SILVERSEL as a much sought-after supporting act. These include such Rock legends as LYNYRD SKYNYRD, BLACKFOOT, MARSHALL TUCKER BAND, THE OUTLA WS, FIREFALL, PURE PRAIRIE LEAGUE, JIMMIE V AN ZANT, PAT TRA VERS, GHOST RIDERS, MOLLY HATCHET, STEVE ‘GRITS’ GRISHAM, DA VE MUSE, PHIL STOKES, DA VE HLUBEK and RANDALL HALL. They have also co-headlined and toured with THE BAD BOYS OF ROCK TOUR. Not too shabby
