INVISIBLE AIRWAVES Issue #037 - George Chase, Jr. - The Sublets | Page 4

This week I catch up with George Chase Jr., leader of The SUblets, host of Happy Hopur Sessions and a bonafide magician. I've been digging The Sublets tunes, they have 3 songs released to date, and the Happy Hour Sessions show that George hosts is a unique concept. Please check ot the feature and enjoy the read!

Ryan Patrick is back with a new column, relating the fabulous character developmemt in Better Call Saul to your radio staion.

While we're on the subject, allow me a moment to say, Kim Wexler is perhaps the most intriguing person in the Breaking Bad universe. While she never appeared in Breaking Bad, her role in Better Call Saul helps explain and define Saul Goodman. It was as early as season 2 when fans started asking, "What happens to Kim?" Spoiler alert, if you haven't seen the finale of Better Call Saul yet, please stop reading. Within the two shows about power, control and not getting caught by the cops, Kim Wexler out smarted them all. Now, she never went head-to-head with Walter White and was long gone from Albuquerque by the time his blue meth started hitting the streets. But her and Saul builot a life together and enoyed the cons they ran on unsuspecting individuals. You often would get the sense that Kim enjoyed the con as much as Slippin' Jimmy. In the end, Kim outsmarted them all, got out of the Albuquerque traps, left Saul behind and when Saul resurfaced, she took steps to outsmart him. I'm trying to be vague here so as not to ruin details, but, when it was all done, Kim remained free while Saul did not. Great ending to a series.
