The quality of a man’ s life is judged by how well he ends. Young and gay, he is prone to an almost carefree life with a few cares to bother about. However, as the golden years approach and the reality of a life of retirement looms larger, such a man is wont to begin to assess his state of being. He begins to do an appraisal of his entire life’ s journey. He begins to ask questions like: Have I built well? What could I do better? Is it too late to correct the mistakes of the past?

Can we all ask and get answers to all these questions? Most definitely. But it would take constant consultations with those that matter. One’ s priest. One’ s doctor. One’ s lawyer. One’ s insurer.
