Strategy and Implementation
For the implementation of this project,
the following measures should be
undertaken:
1. Step by step construction and
refurbishment works of the ski resort
2. Procurement of modern equipment,
supplies and materials necessary for the
efficient exploitation of the resort
3. Establishment of different services to
meet various tourist needs: recreation
(sports,
intellectual
games,
etc.),
entertainment (movie screenings, shows,
etc.), leisure, and health services
4. Construction of a cable ropeway with
3 queues, which will transport tourists,
sportsmen, and visitors from the base of
the resort to the top of Maymekh
Mountain
5. Establishment of professional and
amateur ski tracks
6. Installation of a toboggan and
a
tubing zone
Besides, it is commonly agreed that
there are three key components that
determine destination choice; snow
conditions, overall cost, non-ski related
activities and facilities at the destination.
Quality snow conditions are the key factor
in destination choice for frequent and
skilled participants. The variety of the
terrain also plays an essential role. Thus,
the strategy will encompass all three
components to make the destination
competitive in the global market.
