ZZZZTTTTTT!

Are electric cars as good as we thought they would be?
What are electric cars?
Batteries, outlets, and chargers you name it! Electric cars need all of these plus more for them to drive. An electric car uses a lithium battery. These batteries have a lot of power; the size of a lithium battery for an electric car is almost five feet long.
Some electric car facts...
The electric car can go around 100 miles before it needs another charge. These cars have to have an eight hour charge in order to drive. The electric cars distance in between charges is the equivalent to 300 mpg in a gas powered car. The electric car gives off no fumes and also no sound, therefore less pollution.
My opinion about electric cars...
Since the electric car can only go about 100 miles before recharging, I would rather have a gas powered car. They have more power and over 300 miles before stopping to get gas. Also they have more power behind the wheel, and you can feel the difference.
In this picture, it shows how the battery gives power to many different things.
