The World’ s Water

Many can’ t get water that is clean
Many, many people around the world do not have clean water to drink. Or even water in general. At least 800 million people around the world do not have clean water to use at all. Major cities and countries, such as New York, London, Paris, Los Angeles, etc., have safe water reserves. Others around the planet are not as fortunate. Water is essential to life and many search and search with no such luck. While we get water to our houses in less than a second, others may even risk their life to get water that is barely healthy. America is rich in water. Around 300 million people have clean water to use in any way. But how long until that number starts dropping.
In the year 1988, a mass water shortage overcame South Florida. To this day many people move to Florida everyday. It was the same In those years. 1000 newcomers arrived in the state daily. Since every newcomer needed 200 gallons a day, that resulted in around 200,000 gallons being pumped into the state every single day. Another reason that the water started to go missing was that South Florida only had 3 main water sources; the Kissimmee River, Lake Okeechobee, and the Everglades. With these limited sources, water started to be reserved for when it was needed. One resident of Cape Coral had gotten a $ 48.50 ticket just for watering her lawn. The most simple tasks could not be done with the restricted water usage.
