LEVEL UP Want to go further ? Try experimenting with different materials ( cardboard , wood , plastic ) and see how the blood reacts differently to each surface .
Step 5 :
Using a new sheet of paper , prop up the chopping board / tray at a steep angle . What happens to the shape of the drop ? Does it elongate or flatten out ?
Step 6 :
Now try carefully attaching the paper to a wall ( PLEASE take precautions against staining ). Gently fling the fake blood at it . Can you create an arc or a cast-off pattern ?
Step 7 :
Finally , why not try swapping out the paper for an old piece of fabric and repeat the process . Does the texture of the material change the patterns of the blood spatters ?
