Peru making football history
Peruvian “Primera Divisón” is facing his tournament number 98 since their foundation in 1912. But nevertheless this league was officially recognized in 1922 by the foundation of the Peruvian Federation Football (FPF).

The first team to win this competence was Lima Cricket and Football Club a club formed by British fisher mans. The first tournament was disputed by only 8 clubs! In the present day there are 17 clubs and also was a Peruvian “Segunda Divison” for new clubs that want to reach the “Primera Divison”.
Peruvians national team and club division have made a big impact the economy of Peru since their officially foundation in 1922. Since that year there were created more than 57 stadiums for the state and 8 private stadiums for the clubs that participle in the First Division League of Peru.
The stadium Club Universitario De Deportes is the one with more capacity of people 80.000 persons. Generating money income for Peru and providing passion and culture the people in the present day.
