Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center Opens Its Doors

Loews Hotels & Co . opened the Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center on Feb . 13 , 2024 . The hotel is Loews ’ second and largest hotel in Arlington , Texas , and the first-of-its-kind in the market , ushering a new era of hospitality to North Texas .
Loews Arlington Hotel is a state-of-the-art , full-service meeting , event and resort destination that caters to groups of all sizes , as well as families who are looking for a world-class resort experience in the epicenter of the premier sports and entertainment district in the country .
The resort is situated between Globe Life Field , home to the 2023 World Series Champion Texas Rangers and AT & T Stadium , home to the Dallas Cowboys . It is conveniently connected to the new Arlington Convention Center , which is also operated by Loews Hotels & Co , and the existing 300 room Live ! By Loews Hotel . Collectively , the Loews complex in Arlington will have 1,188 rooms and close to 300,000 square feet of bestin-class meeting space .

Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center is part of phase two of the development of Arlington ’ s Entertainment District .

PDMS Design Group , an architecture and in-house MEP engineering firm specializing in the retail , dental , and industrial sectors , has been in Arlington since 1993 . Registered in all states ( excluding Alaska ), their local clientele includes the Parks Mall , Arlington Highlands , Arlington Downs , Salcomp , and various other retail and industrial spaces in the metroplex . They also work with over 20 clients throughout the country .
Founded in 1987 by Arlingtonian Jack Simms , PDMS Design Group has been family-owned since its inception . Each iteration of the company ’ s ownership has included a husband-wife duo , which continues to this day with CEO , Robin Rowntree and her husband Randall Rowntree , Executive Vice President , and Chief Operating Officer .
