In support of the International Coaching Week created by Jerri Udelson in 1999, the IIC&M will provide you with webinars, a panel to whom you may ask questions, a range of articles, and an opportunity for you to promote your own International Coaching Week events.
Jerri Udelson's vision for this week was to educate the public about the value of working with a personal, business, or executive coach and to provide an oppotunity for coaches and their clients to acknowledge the results and progress made through the coaching process. When she first launched International Coaching Week it was called 'National Coaching Week' and within one year had changed to International Coaching Week as Canada and other countries started to become involved. In an interview Jerri says "When I started National Coaching Week in 1999 I had no idea it would soon take on a life of its own. I really am delighted that this Week is becoming a focal point for both publicising coaching worldwide and provide the public with a sense of the possibilities that coaching offers".
Since 1999 the IIC&M has, through its work as an officially recognised accreditation body, provided support to its members to help them grow in their own personal, professional and business development; and to their clients. Coaches help individuals, groups, teams, and organisations grow and accelerate in all areas of their business, hobbies, careers, and life. the IIC&M's International Coaching Week website is open to all those exploring coaching, becoming a coach, working with a coach, currently working with a coach, or wanting to learn more about how coaching can help them.
David Monro-Jones, the IIC&M's Managing Director, says: "The IIC&M was founded over 17 years ago and has steadily grown its international coaching community through its various levels of coach and coach training accreditation. We are excited to be able to share this with you and to connect the coaching community on such a large international level, building a solid foundation for future collaboration and growth."
