However tourism in Pulaski County looks in 2020,
local leaders have done the best job they can do
protecting the area’s interest and keeping hope
alive for another strong summer on the beautiful
waters of Lake Cumberland, thanks in part to the
strong reputation it’s developed over decades of
serving “the Ohio Navy” and other visitors so well.
“I am proud of Burnside, Somerset, and Pulaski
County’s leadership team. Mayor (Robert) Lawson
(of Burnside), Mayor (Alan) Keck (of Somerset),
Judge (Executive Steve) Kelley, and all aspects of
our local government are in the trenches fighting
for our recovery,” said Crabtree.
Added Ikerd, “We have a very loyal tourism
base in Pulaski County. I hear over and over that
Somerset is one of the friendliest places they’ve
ever visited, and that’s why they will continue to
come back.”
