Somerset is slowly returning to Normal
We have all been
craving the normality
of life.
Maybe, finally, we
are starting to see just
a little bit of that.
We recently saw the grand opening of
the Lake Cumberland Farmers Market —
the latest jewel in the City of Somerset’s
push for a rejuvenated downtown area.

less— deserve a big “thanks” from all of
us.
It’s a wonderful new facility and
everyone should come out and take a

The flea markets are open — which
means bargain hunters who have been
cooped for weeks can make up for lost
time.
And Lake Cumberland Regional
Hospital has used this time to actually
develop some innovative ways in
which to treat patients. Telehealth isn’t
new, but it has been utilized to its full
potential during the COVID crisis. Now,
speaking to your physician via Zoom or
over the phone may become something
that makes maintaining your health a
little more convenient.

read all about how people throughout
our region have responded in such a
positive manner to the coronavirus era.
It has not been easy, but we are
resilient. And when we come out on the
other side of this thing, Pulaski County
will be better and stronger.
