FROM THE EDITOR’S DESK
Local businesses and local people
make Pulaski County special
By
Jeff Neal
I
n Touch with Southern Ken-
tucky magazine strives to bring
you interesting stories about
both people in our community
and significant business trends
that will affect your lives.
For example, Tim Minton explored
the home-buying market forecast
for 2020 with Rick Barker, who is
the owner, along with principal
broker and auctioneer, of Godby
Realty & Auction (Godby Realty) in
Somerset.
He predicts a seller’s market by
the way.
We also will look at some fantastic
people who have made this time of
the year extra special by volunteer-
ing their time to help others who
are less fortunate.
We will also take a look at the
Ford family, who has dedicated
their lives to operating Ford Broth-
ers, Inc., Auctioneers here in Pulas-
ki County.
And while businesses like Ford
Brothers and Anderson Office Sup-
ply are local staples, a new busi-
ness, Zilla Meals, will also share the
spotlight.
In each edition of In Touch, we
will bring you stories that impact
you — stories about local business-
es and local people.
We hope you enjoy this issue.
Have a wonderful 2020!
