especially if its a big thing, you’re
talking quite a bit more money.”
That starts with the bridal bou-
quet and continues with the brides-
maids’ bouquets, boutonnieres, and
flowers for the mothers of the bride
and groom, then continues on with
the venue decorations, reception
decorations, centerpieces for the
tables and the cake area.
Missy Wesley said wedding plan-
ning has to take into consideration
the size of their venue, because
more space to decorate means
adding more flowers to fill up that
space, which means adding to the
costs.
Carol said there are ways to keep
costs down without cutting corners,
such as using larger flowers and
adding greenery to fill in around
flowers within bouquets.
When in comes to table decorat-
ing, she suggested using rose petals
or even Hershey Kisses in place of
large centerpieces, which will make
the table look nice and – in the case
of the chocolate – give guests some-
thing to snack on while waiting.
