Children’s Healing Garden Update The Children’s Healing Garden capital campaign is continuing to move forward with the support of our generous northern Colorado community. With cash, pledges and grants, the campaign has raised over $200,000, as of early August, plus another $75,000-$100,000 in in-kind donations. The Garden is on track to break ground in fall 2017, and we look forward to reaching our $500,000 goal with the continued support from the community. ill or bereaved children in northern Colorado. These children will have the opportunity to experience interactive healing and learning through numerous unique garden features: an oversized “bird’s nest” with an “eggs” seating area for one- on-one counseling, various paths and crossings of different textures for interaction in narrative play therapy, a memory garden, sand play area, shade structures and trees, a mandala area for art therapy, and many more.
