Interview with QT JAZZ October 2015 | Page 2

This Princess is taking the Entertainment Industry by Storm Actress | Singer | Dancer | Songwriter On September 28, 2015, I was on an exclusive Press Conference with other media and bloggers to get the 411 on Jasmine “QT JAZZ” Robinson whose name you will never forget, so get used to hearing her sing and dance on stages crowded around by a mass of fans; reporting on the red carpets, such as the BET Hip Hop Awards on behalf of Sprite P.O.U.R. (Purveyors of Urban Reality) and Coke Representative. You may have already seen her appear on the “Ti and Tiny” reality show, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and working beside Kandi Burruss and other household names of today. At such a young age, you name it, she’s done it. QT JAZZ puts on a show that wows the crowd with her high energy performances that had her sought out to open for major artists, such as OMG Girlz, The Braxtons, Lil Wayne, Ti, Tiny, and the list goes on and on. Although she is compared to a mix between Beyonce, Janet Jackson, and Ciara, I have to disagree. She definitely is in a lane of her own that is very unique and like no other. At nineteen years old, she is on her way to becoming the next Queen of Pop because she is already taking the industry by storm with her beauty collection, acting, music and the ability to put on a “SHOW” in front of the same large crowds that the household names muster up. Her solo debut, “Heels, Bags” was a very successful single because many females, young to old love heels and bags that keep their swagger intact. QT JAZZ opened up with a bubbly down to earth humorous demeanor that made others and I feel comfortable to ask as many questions as we were able to do so during the one hour press conference. Her personal message was very enlightening, inspiring, and right to the point of what she currently has going on with her career. This is just the beginning for this young star as she blossoms into adult hood. “I started dancing, singing, and acting at 3 years old. My mom did business management for a lot of entertainers, such as Xscape, The Braxtons, and others, so growing up I kind of got what I like to call, ‘the behind the scenes version of the industry’. I heard a lot of people say, ‘It’s what you know or who you know that encourages opportunities for you to make it, but I kind of believe it’s more so how good you are.’ So I really took the time out to train, anything from piano, gymnastics and vocal lessons. While she was doing the management side, I was in dance class. So eventually I got the opportunity to perform and open with some of the people she was working with and others, such as Monica, B.O.B, and I did a lot of tour dates opening up for Mindless Behavior and Jacob Latimore. As I got older, I started getting into writing.”
