Elijah Shaw Built a Successful Worldwide Security Consultant Firm and Training Academy

Elijah Shaw is a living testimony that one growing up in the ghetto can make it out, if they are in the
right place at the right moment. He grew up in the inner city house project called, “Ida B. Wells” located
in Chicago. He started going to film school, and in order to pay for school, he would do security work
which didn’t feel like work to him. This is when he realized his true calling. Mr. Shaw was fortunate to
arise from his normal standard of living to becoming a successful business man and launched his own
Security Consultant Firm, ICON Global in 1998. His company provides executive protection to high
profile individuals, Fortune 500 companies, and those in the political arena. Mr. Shaw continues to be
involved with the Democratic and Republican National Conventions. He will be attending the upcoming
occasion in 2016. While working with notable companies and high profile clients, he also developed his
own particular niche working with celebrities.
