INTERSPACE
An immersive, hands-on, real-space themed destination
The INTERSPACE experience will provide a higher level of visitor involvement and engagement than any previous themed attraction. “Explorers,” participating
in a one-day adventure, will be presented with a variety of interactive experiences to choose from. Their first stop will be the Contact Terminal, a dynamic multimedia experience where they can access the latest NewSpace information, announcements and breakthroughs, as well as purchase a real ticket to space if they
choose. Continuing on, they will enter the NewSpace Training Center, an exciting proving ground providing a variety of fun, one-of-a-kind experiences including
centrifuge training, space suit demonstrations, hands-on robot operation and live rocket firings. When ready, they can embark on their journey to Mars in an exciting ride-show experience. Arriving at Expo Mars, they will see first hand what life will be like on the early Mars frontier, walking through part of a Mars settlement and
observing the busy activity of settlers out on the surface. They may even choose to don a space-suit and walk the ruddy soil of Mars themselves.
INTERSPACE “Settlers” will experience all that is offered to the “Explorer,” but in a much more dynamic and immersive multi-day adventure. They will select a specific role to play and undergo rigorous training before arriving on Mars and being introduced to their new home. Settlers will check into their private room and enjoy
an incredible view of Olympus Mons, the largest volcano in the solar system. Their stay on Mars will consist of a mixture of role-specific challenges, group entertainment and activities, culminating in a simulated emergency or group challenge which will require their collective talents to overcome.
A staggering array of innovative, cutting-edge technologies will be presented and incorporated throughout both the Explorer and Settler experiences. More than
just a technology showcase, INTERSPACE visitors will get hands-on exposure to new technology, and the companies and people bringing it to market. Additionally, INTERSPACE will serve as a condensation point for entrepreneurial NewSpace firms, providing the public access to the story and details of their energy, spirit
and daring as the new space race unfolds right before their eyes.
