SKILLS ASSESSMENT REVIEW
It is now time to review your skills development . You will need to refer back to the documents you completed earlier :
• Skills Assessment : Planning Ahead
• SWOB Analysis
• Action Plan
• Work Diary entries
Completing the Skills Assessment Review will enable you to think about how you have improved in the areas identified earlier . You may also find that you have developed skills or knowledge in other areas . You may wish to discuss your own assessment ratings with your employer - see Employer Review .
GUIDANCE Enter in the ‘ Description ’ column details of the skills identified in your initial Skills Assessment , together with the rating you gave yourself at that time ( under Previous Rating ).
Looking back on your SWOB Analysis , Action Plan and Work Diary , do you feel you have improved in any of the areas you initially listed ? Could you give yourself a higher rating now ? Did you perhaps not have the opportunity to practise this skill ? Remember it is important to be honest and critical .
Once you have decided on the rating , enter this under “ Review Rating ”. If you feel you have improved or want to say why this has not improved , describe the context in the “ Evidence ” column .
The template is totally blank so that you can now make it very specific to your experience and purposes .
