Job Summary
The Culinary Intern will gain hands-on experience working across multiple culinary outlets within the casino, including restaurants, pastry, banquets, and specialty kitchens. This internship is designed for individuals interested in developing foundational culinary skills and exploring the fast paced environment of professional food service.
Working alongside experienced chefs, the intern will assist with food preparation, kitchen organization, sanitation, plating, and exposure to various cooking techniques. This role provides a valuable opportunity for students or aspiring culinarians who wish to grow, learn, and work toward the long term goal of becoming a chef.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist with basic food preparation such as chopping, measuring, portioning, and assembling ingredients
• Support chefs in multiple outlets including Shkode, poolside service, Sandhill, Lucky, Harvest, CBK, Pastry, and 131
• Help maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards
• Learn and practice safe food handling, storage, and cleaning procedures
• Assist with simple cooking tasks under supervision( grilling, sautéing, baking, etc.)
• Support buffet setup, station stocking, and food presentation as directed
• Observe and learn professional culinary techniques and kitchen operations
• Perform other culinary duties as assigned by chefs or supervisors

• Basic culinary knowledge or interest in developing kitchen skills
• Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and maintain a clean workspace
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to learn, practice, and improve culinary techniques
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical kitchen tasks
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
