Education Services Intern

Job Summary

The Education Services Intern will support the Education Department through a blend of administrative tasks, program assistance, and communication support. This internship offers hands-on experience in office operations, program coordination, and community engagement, contributing directly to the delivery of high quality educational services for Tribal Citizens and families.
The intern will assist with light office duties, data entry for program tracking, communication tasks such as email drafting and newsletter content creation, and support for educational experiences and events. Additional responsibilities include contacting Citizens, organizing outreach efforts, and maintaining accurate program records.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Support daily office operations through filing, organizing materials, and other light administrative tasks
• Assist with data entry, tracking program participation, and maintaining accurate records
• Draft email communications, newsletter content, and other outreach materials
• Support planning, preparation, and delivery of educational programs, workshops, and events
• Contact Citizens by phone or email to share program information, collect updates, or support outreach efforts
• Collaborate with Education Department staff on projects and program initiatives
• Contribute creative ideas for enhancing services, outreach, and Citizen engagement

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365( Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Creative thinking, problem solving ability, and willingness to contribute new ideas
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and tracking tasks
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Comfort contacting Citizens via phone or email
• Dependability, professionalism, and eagerness to learn new skills
