We continue to seek out newer and smaller“ Green Buildings” with state-of-the-art, energy-efficient LEED or ENERGY STAR certifications and / or continuous sustainability goals. Additionally, we practice Just-in-Time sourcing of ENERGY STAR-rated equipment and environmentally friendly office products and materials to prevent and reduce waste. All our offices comply with all energy conservation and recycling programs required by our landlords and local municipalities.
At our largest leased offices, our Facility Teams are trained on our building management’ s sustainability and decarbonized strategies and collaborate on tenant initiatives to support energy usage reduction and waste management. They include programs such as recycle-reusereduce, efficient LED fixture lighting improvement, HVAC upgrades and real-time occupancy use, construction waste management, and e-waste management. Our collective efforts aim to help our headquarters meet a 35 % reduction in energy consumption by 2050, a 10 % reduction of water usage by 2025, and a 50 % waste diversion rate by 2025.( Source: Paramount Group, ESG 2023 Report)
