INTERNATIONAL TUTORS’ MAGAZINE CHECKING IN WITH THE ITs The International Tutors teach workshops of about 15 students on various topics, ranging from the formal and academic to the creative and cultural. Each issue, we reflect on some particularly interesting and engaging workshops from the previous month. Students are encouraged to contact an IT whose workshop they enjoyed and write about it! Each issue, we present a entertainment panel with reviews, recommendations, and debates directly from the clubs for you to enjoy! GAME RECOMMENDATION Look here for a recommendation from the International Board Games Club for a fun board game you can practice your English skills with! You might learn how to play, the game’s history, or why it’s so good for language practice! All board games are available at the ASLLC, so you can play, too! LYRICAL PLAYLIST Get ready for your next bus ride or workout with a playlist from the Lyrics Appreciation Club! You might see your favorite songs or discover some new tunes! You can also learn about the background of the songs and how they can help you practice English in a fun way! FILM REVIEW Here you’ll find a review of a movie recently watched by the Movie Club! You might discover your next Netflix item or learn something cool about a movie you know and love! All movies are available at the ASLLC, the library, or by online streaming, so you can watch them, too! BOOK REVIEW Here you’ll find a review of the book most recently read by the Book Club! You might receive some interesting insights into literature in general or discover your next favorite read! All books are available at the ASLLC, so you can read them, too! HOT TOPIC Check this panel out for an exciting and contentious debate presented by the Debate Club! See the arguments for and against the issue and decide for yourself what you think! You can even vote and tell us your opinion through the ASLLC’s social media! 7
