With each press thorns intensify the sore
As I urge to step more
For the dream I hold on
Seems too far to reach
Doubts overwhelm the belief
External supports fade from each
But internal voice still speaks

Dream is still the existence
Faith in my heart attest/evidence
Contrary to unseen circumstances
Encouraging me to not forget
For the dream I hold on
Sparks of light
Gather around the night
Gradually becomes bright
Signaling my heart was right
Now that I’m in the dream I’ve held on
