UnB counts with:
• 400 on campus laboratories.
• 378 Research groups certified by the National Council of
Technological and Scientific Development CNPq.
• 1,919 scholarships granted by CNPq for Doctorate, Masters,
Research and Scientific Initiation modalities.
UnB Campuses
Darcy Ribeiro, UnB main campus is located in the plano piloto.
Besides the central campus, UnB has another three campuses
located in the Brasilia suburbs:
UnB Facilities
• Library: created in 1962, Central Library (BCE) holds over 1.5
million volumes.
• University farm: With nearly 10,000 acres, it provides
education and research opportunities to students of
agricultural, Veterinary, Biology and Environmental sciences.
• University hospital (HUB) and Veterinary hospital: HUB was
established in 1970. Nowadays it registers more than 149.611
consultations and 5.713 surgeries per year.
• Olympic Center, Language Center, Cafeteria, Green areas,
Banks, Post office, Stationery shops, Service station,
Convenience store, etc.
