We guarantee all new first-year students a place in halls , provided you have a firm offer from us and meet all accommodation deadlines .

Privately rented shared houses / flats

You can , of course , choose to live independently in the vibrant city centre or surrounding area if you prefer .

Expect to pay around £ 90 –£ 130 per week for a room in a shared flat or house ( usually houses ) and around £ 80 for food and household bills per week on top of the rent price . Lodgings , where the landlord lives on the premises , are usually in the £ 90 –£ 130 per week range . This will include all your bills and may include some meals too .

Studio flats

We offer 74 self-contained studio flats , located in various halls of residence . Prices range from £ 174 –£ 182 per week . These are prioritised for new mature and postgraduate students , but new undergraduates are welcome to apply too .

Greetham Street Hall

Catherine House

Harry Law Hall

Living locally

We advise our students to live no more than 30 minutes by public transport from the University so that you can easily attend your face-to-face sessions .

ResLife Team

You will also have access to the Residence Life Team who provide a varied social programme throughout the academic year and welfare support 24 hours a day .
