Firstly can I THANK all the people who phoned enquiring about my health after reading it in my column last week, this was very kind of everyone and a family also sent me a Get Well Card which was very much appreciated. I also had a lot of requests regarding cutting down my stock pigeons and I’m happy to say that the purchasers are more than happy with the quality of birds they received. I wish them well in the future and hope they continue breeding the quality of pigeons I have had from them. This weekend 2nd June is the first SNFC race from Buckingham so we are going up to Kevin’s once we hear if the birds have been liberated. His team have come into form these past 2 weeks so let’s hope he does well from the national. I spoke to him last night and he is sending 10 birds which is a good entry. Yes we discussed the Space Weather forecast hence he is not putting all his birds into this first race. Good luck to all who compete and let us hope we get a good race and returns are good for the remainder of the season.
