In Hasselt and Diepenbeek several indoor and outdoor sports can be practiced. You can purchase a student sports card for € 30. A sports card offers a lot of advantages such as free access to the swimming pool, free participation in group lessons and good deals for squash, wall climbing, outdoor tennis, ice skating and fitness.
Beginner? Experienced athlete? Or just in for some fun? You are all welcome to join!

Hasselt has a vibrant student culture. Throughout the year, you’ ll find plenty of activities to join, from cultural events to social gatherings.
Kick off the academic year with the Student Take-Off, Hasselt’ s biggest student party, packed with music, food, and thousands of students. Or cheer on PXL at the Regatta, a lively rowing competition between universities. There’ s always something happening!
