of more than 15,000 active users .
In 2023 , Fast2Mine implemented 22 new projects , 50 % more than in 2022 , with the company planning even more this year .
“ We expect to implement another 35 projects in 2024 and reach the milestone of 300 operations by the end of 2027 ,” Fast2Mine ' s CEO , Eder Griebeler , said .
The main driver of this is Mining Control , a system that integrates a set of technological modules to revolutionise the management of mining operations , Fast2Mine says .
“ Through dynamic optimisation and allocation , [ Mining Control ] maximises results in real time , while automatic data collection ensures efficiency without relying on manual notes from operators and the control room , providing accurate and crucial information at the right time ,” the company explained .
Mining Control also provides dynamic , targeted data analysis and customised reports , which offer precise insights for strategic decision making , according to the company . In addition , it works in hybrid mode , allowing flexibility between online and offline modes .
“ Mining Control is a complete and comprehensive solution , whether in open-pit or underground mining environments ,” Fast2Mine says . “ With its data- and action-driven intelligence , it allows professionals to focus fully on optimising results , boosting the success of the operation , increasing productivity , improving operational efficiency and reducing costs .”
In 2024 , Fast2Mine launched a new solution that , it says , promises to transform day-to-day mining operations around the world : mineVERSE . mineVERSE is a mobile application that optimises mining operations by offering a decentralised and mobile system for dispatching and controlling at short intervals . With an intuitive interface and advanced functionalities ,
Eder Griebeler ( left ) says Fast2Mine expects to implement another 35 projects in 2024 and reach the milestone of 300 operations by the end of 2027 mineVERSE is designed to make mining operations more agile and efficient , allowing operations managers to make informed decisions in real time , regardless of their location . The product can be integrated with any other type of FMS system , making the technology even easier to use in mining operations .
Griebeler explained : “ This application is a game changer for the way mining operations are managed . With the ability to access critical data and manage tasks from anywhere , as well as facilitating communication and interaction between everyone involved in the process , we believe mineVERSE will bring a new era of efficiency and productivity to the industry .”
The Mining Control system is also evolving , with the platform at an advanced stage of development to meet the future demands of mining , being agnostic and interoperable with any autonomous equipment , Fast2Mine says . With advanced algorithms and machine-learning capabilities , the system will be able to adapt to various operating conditions , guaranteeing consistent and reliable performance , the company claims .
In the current datadriven landscape , companies across all industries are overwhelmed with vast amounts of raw data . Yet , the challenge does not lie merely in the accumulation of this data but in its transformation into actionable knowledge . The gap between data collection and knowledge application represents a significant hurdle , impeding the ability to leverage information as a strategic asset .
Enter the Enterprise Knowledge Performance System ( EKPS ) from Eclipse Mining Technologies .
“ SourceOne transforms your data by enriching and interconnecting it , leaving it primed for utilisation within its suite of AI and modelling tools alongside industry-specific engines or by the external technologies of your choice ,” the company explains . “ Tailored to meet the challenges of the mining industry , SourceOne is undaunted by complex data types or large volumes of data .”
It uses advanced database techniques to organise data efficiently , combined with technologies such as ontology to provide context
