ground engaging tools ( GET ) will be presented at MINExpo . The new ESCO ® NEXSYS™ Lip System and GET for rope shovel dippers can significantly reduce downtime costs . Lower lip maintenance and longer tooth and adapter life leads to longer uninterrupted shovel operation . NEXSYS GET also come with lower weight and reduced maintenance – all with the reliability of ESCO engineered products , the company explains .
Weir says it offers a comprehensive range of high-performance ESCO mining buckets and attachments for excavators , face shovels , rope shovels , wheel loaders and dragline buckets engineered to deliver top performance , while also reducing downtime .
With over 1,000 installations worldwide , the ESCO Nemisys ® lip and GET system is field proven to lower operating costs per tonne , Weir claims . The system features a hammerless , integrated single-side lock for easier and faster removal , minimising machine downtime during maintenance cycles .
Meanwhile , Weir ’ s MOTION METRICS™ products include monitoring systems for mine-tomill optimisation . Its monitoring systems for shovels , loaders and haul trucks improve worker safety and equipment productivity . The company also offers missing tooth detection , tooth wear monitoring , particle size analysis , volume monitoring and boulder detection .
Weir ’ s new ENDURON ® Elite screen is a double-deck banana screen , available in a range of sizes , the largest of which has a deck measuring 4.3 m x 9.7 m and weighs nearly 50 t . It ’ s one of the biggest screens on the market ,
Weir says , and can be used in any screening duties within the mill circuit , including in high pressure grinding roll ( HPGR ) discharge applications . The ENDURON Elite screen complements Weir ’ s commitment to deliver transformational flowsheets in which traditional tumbling mills are replaced by HPGRs and vertical stirred mills , potentially reducing energy consumption by up to 40 %, Weir says .
This flowsheet-based approach also informs Weir ’ s tailings offering , which consists of a product portfolio , expertise and global footprint to “ rethink , reduce and repurpose tailings ”.
